About us
What We Do
Full table CSA is dedicated to cultivating wellness and resilience in our bodies, our communities, and our soil here in the North Carolina Piedmont. We do this by offering a growing and evolving selection of services and products to help nourish our members from the inside out. We offer an organically grown, all-season CSA subscription, nutrition tips, and healthy recipes.
Our farm is on the land at Common Ground Ecovillage where we are exploring how to be a model for new social futures that emerge in deep collaboration with living systems.

It is our mission to practice small-scale ecological farming that is productive, accessible, and part of a larger shift in our food system so that we can help create happy and healthy communities from the soil up.
We would love to share our veggies with you and if you feel curious we'd love to see you out on the farm to share in the joy of growing food!
Farmer Doug Jones
I have farmed full time, using organic methods, for 47 years mostly in Intentional Communities. I believe that our visions and values are part of a path toward a way of living that treads lightly on the earth, emphasizes conservation and sharing of resources, including the human resources of connection and compassion to support our survival as a species. I teach food-growing to others, in the belief that we need many more people, including urban gardens, growing nutritious food using intensive and regenerative methods.During most of these years of growing food, I have also been doing a lot of on-farm research, formal teaching through colleges, conferences, and non-profits, and informal teaching of more than 150 interns and employees. The main focus of my research has been on-farm seed saving and plant breeding. (Several of the peppers I have bred are now listed in seed catalogs). Growing vegetables year-round has been a passion of mine since I emigrated from short-season Northern NYS to North Carolina 20 years ago, so I have ample experience with season extension to produce as wide a variety of food as possible. Other passions of mine include vermicomposting and making potting mix derived entirely from local materials.
Marlene Medina
Nutrition Coach, Animal lover and Plant-Based Chef my mission in life is to learn all that I can about healthy, natural avenues to the best life that I can live, and to share that with others. I want to help others to achieve the Health, Vitality and Well-Being that each of us desires. Vitality, Health, Well-Being, and Beauty are not external. They are created from within. It is not overnight; it takes time, commitment, and love for ourselves.
“Our happiness rests on health, and education is the real change. Only then can we achieve that moment of understanding, transform our lives and reach our desired happiness.”
Caleb Buchbinder
After spending a decade seeking some nebulous mystery, total dissolution into eternal bliss, and the best sunsets in town, Caleb has settled in the Piedmont of NC. He fell in love with the symphonic dance that is market gardening and has been obsessively apprenticing himself to the craft ever since. When he is not planting seeds in the garden, he is working to dismantle systems of oppression and to be in service to a social landscape worthy of this beautiful planet.
LUCAS BABINEC
An avid permaculturalist and yogi aspirant, currently helping heaps of veggies grow and coordinating community meals out at Common Ground. Rockin’ out on the river of justice and food sovereignty. All in the story of interbeing as best as I can. Co-creating a culture of consent, compassion, power with & with-in, reciprocity, mutual thriving, honorable harvests, and reverence for all of life. In a former life I studied economics and desired to be an investment banker. In another I threw 1000s of pitches chasing summer across the hemispheres, playing & coaching the game I loved, while also teaching mindfulness meditation to athletes. Now, greatly inspired by my experience as an apprentice at Rancho Mastatal in 2022, I’m fully devoted to bringing the beautiful vision of Common Ground Ecovillage to life.
